Marine VHF Radio Operator Licence - Short Range Certificate (SRC)

This one-day course covers operation of voice-only VHF radios, Global Maritime Distress & Safety System (GMDSS) and Digital Selective Calling (DSC).  This qualification is a mandatory requirement for anyone wishing to use the new generation of DSC/GMDSS radios.  Existing VHF licence holders are welcome to attend in order to update their qualification.  

All candidates must bring a recent passport-sized photograph.

(In addition to the course fee, there is a certificate fee of £30. You will need to be able to write a cheque to the RYA on the day of your course)
