Tera Sailing Adventure – RYA Youth Scheme (8 -10 year olds)

This 5-day course for the younger age group will be based on sailing the Centre’s fleet of RS Tera dinghies.  Stable enough for novices and exciting enough for any young sailor, these fun little boats have been an instant success with all those who’ve sailed them and provide the ideal way for youngsters to make rapid progress.  This course for 8 to 10 year olds will suit both novice sailors, eager to learn the skills of sailing, and those who’ve sailed before and who want to improve.  Where possible, sailors will be coached in groups according to ability.  The course will follow the syllabus of the RYA Youth Scheme and awards will be given for the standard achieved.  Please note that we may programme alternative activities should the weather be unsuitable for safe sailing.
