Introduction to Dinghy Sailing Courses- RYA Level 1

These two-day practical taster courses, run at weekends, are designed to enable the complete novice to handle a dinghy safely and successfully in light winds, under supervision. Training takes place on the safe and sheltered waters of Langstone Harbour, under the watchful guidance of our professional staff.

This is an ideal introduction to the sport and our most popular course! We offer the opportunity to do this course in either our two-person RS Vision dinghies or sailing single-handed in our RS Feva dinghies.

Most of our courses are for those aged 16 and over. However, if you want to learn to sail with younger members of your family, why not think about our ‘Family Friendly’ weekends?
