A complete course for those with little or no previous dinghy sailing experience which takes place in a safe and supportive environment. The first week is spent ashore learning rigging, basic techniques and theory, followed by 11 weeks of practical work afloat that will give you a thorough grounding in the fundamental skills of dinghy sailing. Successful completion of the course will see you gain the RYA Level 2 (Basic Skills) Award.
You can choose either to undertake the course in a 2-person RS Vision or a single-handed RS Feva/Q’ba. See the evenings listed below.
Basic Skills - 'Linked Weekend' Courses
A course for those who wish for more than an ‘introductory’ weekend, but cannot make time for an extended series of evening classes or who prefer weekend courses. Sailing either in RS Vision, RS Feva or Q’ba, this is an opportunity to gain the RYA National Sailing Certificate (Level 2) over two weekends.

Introduction to Dinghy Sailing– 4-Day Courses
If you want to learn to sail, going from beginner to Level 2 in one intensive course, this is the course for you. The syllabus is the same as our linked weekends, but the course runs over four consecutive weekdays in a holiday period. This is a great way to learn and there’s an added bonus… this is something for all the family.
