Sailing Adventure – RYA Youth Scheme (11-16 year olds)

Our RYA Youth courses are great for beginners, improvers and advanced sailors alike.  You’ll be grouped according to your ability level and the programme for each group will follow the syllabus of the appropriate RYA Level, Beginners – you know what you’ll be doing!  Improvers – we’ll be aiming to get you sailing completely independently.  Our Advanced groups will concentrate on boat handling, spinnaker sailing and perhaps a bit of racing.  Sailing will take place in our fleets of RS Vision, RS Feva and Laser 4.7 or Radials as appropriate.  The emphasis is on the practical activities, although the relevant theoretical knowledge will also be covered.  Please note that we may programme alternative activities should the weather be unsuitable for safe sailing.
